Walking Birds Mountain I

Walking Birds Mountain II

Walking Birds Mountain I & Walking Birds Mountain II were collaborative projects of visual artists and writers for the Tread Softly festival in 2018 and 2019.
A group of artists trekked across the Ballygawley mountains in County Sligo with writer and archeologist Padraig Meehan exploring Slaibh Dá Eán, steeped in the mythology of the Cailleach Bhérra. Their week-long collaborations resulted in exhibitions of their visual, vocal and written responses in the Factory Performance Space & The Nest, respectively.
